Oriental Lilies bloom in August in the northern half of the United States.  They are a great space saving perennial because they can be planted over June flowering Asiatic Lilies.  Since both Oriental Lilies and Asiatic Lilies are bulbs, they are small and can share the same area in your garden.

For tall Oriental Lilies, the 'Casa Blanca' variety shown above-left and the 'Arena' variety shown above-right are two of our favorites.  The Casa Blanca Oriental Lily is the huge white lily often used in weddings.  We use it for a white backdrop in a perennial garden.  The Arena Oriental Lily is beautiful with a white background and an orange and yellow stripe. This is a great background to a perennial garden.

The 'Rubrum' variety shown above-left and the 'Stargazer' variety shown above-right are two of our shorter favorites for Oriental Lilies.  The Rubrum Oriental Lily is a pink and white polka-dot lily which is short and of great use in the middle of a perennial garden.  The Stargazer Oriental Lily is used in a lot of weddings and we use it in the middle of perennial gardens.
